  On Crosby near Howard, we spotted Sophia Bounou with her yet-to-be-titled work in blue. Her effervescent energy was clearly channeled into this work, a vibrant and imaginative sea of imagery evoking a dreamlike quality.

  We met Jean-Andre Antoine on Prince Street near Broadway. The very affable Jean-Andre told us he has been taking vintage analog portraits in this same spot in SoHo for 16 years!

  Rob Hann is a self-taught photographer from Salisbury, England who now splits his time between New York and California. He was exhibiting his photography on Prince Street between Wooster and Greene when we visited. He has a storied career, and, according to his website, 7 photographs in the permanent collection of The National Portrait Gallery in London.

  Dhagpo Lobsang exhibited his photography at the corner of Spring and West Broadway.

  His work is created entirely through analog processes, with images captured on Polaroid and film cameras, then hand-developed and printed in his studio darkroom.
