Best Friends Pet Adoption Center at 307 West Broadway has been doing good in the SoHo neighborhood since 2017. In recent months their Adventure Buddies, a volunteer dog walking program, went viral, increasing visibility for their vital work to save shelter dogs and cats from being killed. The SoHo location at West Broadway near Canal is temporarily closed and is expected to reopen in mid August. They have a pop-up location in Brooklyn at 232 Varet Street.
Best Friends Animal Society is a national organization dedicated to stopping the killing of dogs and cats in America’s shelters.
