The Gunther Building at 469 Broome (on the corner of Greene Street) is a prominent property in SoHo’s Cast Iron Historic District. Designed by Griffith Thomas, who designed several other of SoHo’s cast iron buildings, the Gunther Building was completed in 1872 and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
